Camden Pointe Jr. Tennis Giving Back to the Community!
|
It’s that time again! The Holiday Season is not only about receiving gifts. It’s about the Joy of Giving for the Juniors. Please join them in giving for the 3rd year to kids and animals… We are once again accepting donations supporting the Calvary Children’s Home and the Forgotten Paws, a no-kill animal shelter in Acworth. We will wrap the children’s gifts and deliver all gifts the week of Christmas. Your donations may be dropped off at 2153 Kings Tree Way. There are plastic bins in the driveway for your convenience.
Thanks so much for supporting us during our matches and for joining our efforts to help others!

Camden Pointe Girls Jr. Tennis Update!
Exciting news for Camden Pointe Juniors, the first USTA Girls/Boys Mixed Team has formed! You may have noticed them practicing each week, preparing for the upcoming Winter 2012 season. If you have a child, age 14 or under that is interested in joining, this is an amazing group of kids. During the Fall, they formed a Durham Middle School team on USTA’s Cobb County Middle School League and Won! Yes, they won, out of all Cobb County Middle Schools!
Beginning in January, you will see the USTA Jr. team playing matches on Wed. evenings at 5:30 from time to time. During the Spring, the girls ALTA 14 Under team will once again hold matches on Saturday afternoons. They moved up 2 levels in the fall, after winning their division and making it to Semi-finals in the spring. At that time, the youngest girl was 11 and the oldest 13. The girls train year round and many hope to play in high school. Their goal for Spring 2012 is to win City!
If your child is interested in playing tennis, we have exceptional coaches that work with the kids… our very own resident, Grayson Blanchett and Adam Morehart. Contact Teresa Stowell at 678-574-7445 or at tstowell@comcast.net

Ways to Keep your Water and Lakes Clean!
|
This is a recent photo of the lake. We ask all residents to refrain from throwing things in the lake. It costs all of us homeowners to have this removed and it doesn't reflect our pride in our community.

We are pleased to report that the shrubbery we wanted removed in the area between the lower pavilionand the upper court has been completed! Please see the article and photos of the Lower Pavilion Refurbishment

Having Difficulty Mowing Your Yard? We realize there are some homeowners who really struggle in being able to keep their yard property mowed. Whether it’s due to an illness, death in the family, divorce, or perhaps a serious financial hardship, there is help available.
|
The Board has been approached by a few concerned homeowners who have offered their services to help. If you’re having a real hardship, please contact one of the HOA Board members or All-In-One and we’ll connect you with someone who can help.
Love Thy Neighbor? If you are able-bodied, have a lawnmower, love this community and like helping your neighbors, please consider joining up to help in this program. Our goal is to reach out to those in real need offering service and set up a rotation schedule that’s easy for the volunteers. Thanks for considering this volunteer opportunity.
