Swim Team Information-Updated June 2011
The Camden Pointe Piranhas are starting their swim season and they will be practicing Monday-Friday in the morning until 10:45am. This year they have three home meets scheduled - June 7th, 14th & 21st. All swim meets are in the evening and they will close the pool around 4:00pm to set up for them. Please feel free to come out and cheer on your neighborhood swimmers!
Camden Pointe Swim Meet Reminders
A few reminders about swim meets:
- The pool will close to prep for the meet about 4:00pm
- Parking will be extremely difficult
- Many folks will end up parking along Camden Lake Parkway, and possibly some of the side streets near the pool
- Cars are to park only on the RIGHT side of the street to keep the flow of traffic going
- Please drive slowly as lots of people, especially kids, will be walking around the amenities, sidewalks, and streets
- You may wish to avoid the main Mars Hill entrance to the neighborhood after about 5:00pm and instead use either the McLain or Kings Tree Pass entrances to the main section of the neighborhood
- If you can, come out to cheer on your home team!
Water Leak At The Front Of The Neighborhood
As you may be aware, we had a serious water leak at the front of the neighborhood. After much investigation, it was determined the leak was before the meter, and hence, it is the responsibility of Cobb County Water Systems to find and repair. Today there was no water to the clubhouses, restrooms, or pool. However, that leak has now been repaired and water service has been restored, just in time for the pool day tomorrow and meet tomorrow night! We apologize for the inconvience this caused today.
